Ask yourself the following questions and really consider them.
Who am I? What do I do/specialise in? Who do I serve? How do I serve them? How will this impact them?
It’s important that you are really clear and confident in your answers. Stay true to yourself and your brand so that you can create a meaningful mission statement.
Your Brand Mission defines the purpose of your business and how it affects the world around you. It communicates clearly what you do, for whom and how it will benefit them. If you had to tell someone what your business is all about in 3 lines, what would you want or need them to know?
Use the answers you wrote while defining your purpose as a starting point and write three or four lines to draft a powerful mission statement. Your answer should capture the essence of your business and set the tone for your brand.
Your brand mission should feature on your website, welcome packs, and proposals. It is your answers when you are asked; “What you do?”.
It is the very core of your brand messaging.
